Greenville – Funeral services for Floyd James Mandolini, 58, of Greenville, will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Visitation will be at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Greenville followed by a funeral mass. Floyd died Monday, April 30, 2018 after a brief illness. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, under direction of Mortimer Funeral Home, Greenville.
Floyd was born June 28, 1959 in Greenville, MS. He attended Greenville High School and Mississippi Delta Community College. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenville, MS. He was employed by Bing’s County Market.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Nellie Mandolini and a nephew, Jason Mandolini. He is survived by a sister, Virginia Purser, of Destin, FL and a brother, Guy Mandolini (Clara) of Greenville, nieces, Deborah Dandre (Tony) of Phoenix, AZ , Katie Vaught (Brewer) of Greenville, MS. Nephews James Purser (Kate) of Idaho Springs, CO and Craig Mandolini (Miller) of Greenville, MS. Great-nieces Mecklyn and Amelia Vaught of Greenville and great-nephews, Kenneth and Bennett Purser of Idaho Springs, CO.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Jason Mandolini Memorial Trust, Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Jackson, Post Office Box 2248, Jackson, MS 39225.
