Obituary for Billy E. Cupp



Billy E. Cupp, 80, of Brinkley, died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at his residence.
Funeral Services are 10:00 AM Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 at Fowler Funeral Home, Brinkley, Arkansas.
Visitation will be 5-7pm on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Fowler Funeral Home.
Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Moro, Arkansas; under the direction of Fowler Funeral Home. Billy Cupp was born on July 17, 1937 in Monroe Arkansas. He is the son of the late Udell and Florene Mulinax Cupp. On March 9, 1963 he and Dorris Flowers were wed. To this union two sons were born; Anthony Allan and Timothy Dewayne. A lifelong resident of Monroe, Billy enjoyed spending time with those he grew up around and in later years he became somewhat of a patriarch of the community. With only a 5th grade education, he had a mind for business. After spending 25 years managing the Harvey Farm. Billy began his life in the trucking industry. Nothing made Billy happier than helping someone in need and spending time with friends and family, especially his beloved dog Buddy Cupp. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorris "Cookie" Cupp, son Anthony Allan Cupp, and brothers Raymond and Wesley Cupp. He is survived by sons, Timothy (Deana) Cupp of Monroe, Michael Cupp of Little Rock, and David (Rachael) Cupp of Watson; daughter Beth of Montana; sisters Mabel Hatch of Sherwood and Hazel Chism of Clarendon; grandchildren, Allie (Bryan) Jones of Monroe, Raven Cupp and David Cupp Jr. of Clarendon; great grandchildren, Anna Lyne Julian, Bryan Jones, Dagan Jones and Fallyn Criss.
Billy was born July 17, 1937 in Monroe, Arkansas, the son of Udell Cupp and Florene Mullinax Cupp.
He is a lifelong resident of Monroe, Arkansas; former owner and operator of Cupp Trucking Company; and managed the farm for 25 years. He is known for being a hard working man. He loved making people laugh, and spending time with family and friends and helping others. He loved serving his community and the people in it; always willing to help and contribute during a family hardship.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris Cupp; son, Anthony Allan Cupp; and brothers Raymond Cupp and Wesley Cupp
He is survived by his sons, Timothy (Deana) Cupp of Monroe, Michael Cupp of Little Rock, and David (Racheal) Cupp of Watson; daughter Beth Cupp of Montana; sisters, Maybel Hatch of Sherwood and Hazel Chism of Clarendon; grandchildren, Allie Jones (Bryan) Monroe, Raven Cupp, David Cupp Jr.; great grandchildren, AnnaLyne Jullian, Brylan Jones, Dagan Jones, and Fallyn Criss.
